Right, normally I don't do PDA things especially this ... up front, but I wanted to share. It was all inspired by Kai. I hate you, sir, ahem, I mean: thank you for making me mentally extend myself, it was actually quite enjoyable.
Jubilant elation fills my world,
As every day draws us closer as one.
Mesmerizing words, phrases, ideas,
Encase me in your shroud of beauteous thought,
Sing songs wrought of angel grace.
My mind at rest,
I have found true piece,
Christened by you, 'my Satin Dream'.
Hollowing our path to freedom,
Adventure sweet on our tongues,
Embellishing this life we've made,
Limited naught by the expanse of time.
Beautiful love of mine,
Always remember your worth,
Untempered by space nor time.
Erase your worries and fears,
Remain: always mine.
That is so sweet. I have no talent for writing and often don't understand poetry, but this is really great.
Best of luck to you both.
Awww Cort! This is lovely, and I like that you used the satin dreams thing. Good job, and much more happiness to you both.
Cort,
I'm touched. This is doubtless your best piece of writing—and on so many levels.
Unfortunately I fear that, in cases like these, the all-too-fine line between utterly cliche and overly sappy leaves little room for expressions of feelings that look sincere in print.
I had elaborate plans of Gizoogling this poem, but the final translated product proved rather lacking in humor. Oh well.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The words always mean so much from reviewers of my work.

Thank you for the reviews! I thought this thing got moved to the back of the line–what with all the 'zone teases' and what not, but i'm gladd it still is getting some air time.
Thanks again for the words!
Cort, I love it! It's all awe- worthy and things!
You inspired me to do something like that for Louis. Just to see what he'd think. Lol. It was beautiful, Cortney, as your work always is. Keep it up. Never cease creating, never cease sharing.
